(Reporter’s Note) Recently, as the afterglow of the 2026 China Agricultural Machinery Overseas Expansion Forum still lingers, our company, a deep player in the micro-tiller export sector, simultaneously announced two major developments – the official launch of two customized new micro-tiller models tailored for differentiated overseas scenarios, and the confirmation of its group participation in the Vietnam International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition in July. Driven by the dual engines of “product innovation + in-depth scenario cultivation”, the company is seizing opportunities in Southeast Asia and global emerging markets, demonstrating the strong momentum of high-quality overseas expansion of Chinese agricultural machinery enterprises.
The two new models launched this time precisely address the pain points of agricultural operations in different overseas regions, fully demonstrating the company’s R&D strength. Among them, the lightweight intelligent micro-tiller, developed for the characteristics of Southeast Asia’s mountainous and hilly terrain with scattered plots, has a body weight controlled within 45kg, can be quickly disassembled for transportation and is suitable for narrow row spacing operation scenarios. Equipped with an intelligent power adjustment system, it can automatically switch tillage modes according to soil moisture, improving operation efficiency by 30% compared with traditional models and keeping the repair rate below 2%. The other model is a dual-mode power micro-tiller adapted for cold-region markets such as Russia and Canada. Adopting a “diesel-electric” dual-drive design, it can start stably in an extremely cold environment of -40℃, and is equipped with a wide-voltage adaptation module and a multi-language operation interface. It has successfully passed the EU CE and North American EPA certifications, laying a solid foundation for exploring high-end overseas markets.
“The core logic of new product R&D is ‘adapting measures to local conditions’,” said the person in charge of the company’s R&D department. Relying on years of in-depth experience in overseas markets, we have built a demand database covering Southeast Asia, Africa, South America and cold-region markets, and carried out targeted R&D based on the soil characteristics, crop types and climatic conditions of different regions. The two new models this time are the fruits of the deep integration of technology and market demand. At present, the lightweight intelligent micro-tiller has received bulk orders from Vietnam, Laos and other countries, and the first batch of products will be shipped via the China-Laos Railway. With the help of the RCEP tariff preferential policies, the market competitiveness will be further enhanced.
Along with the launch of new products, the company’s overseas market layout is accelerating again. It is reported that to seize the window period for the upgrading of agricultural mechanization in Southeast Asia, the company will actively respond to the call of the China Agricultural Machinery Circulation Association and participate in the Vietnam International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition to be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from July 23 to 25 as a group. For this exhibition, the company will showcase its full range of core export models, including the two new models launched this time and the multi-functional micro-tiller adapted for the cultivation of tropical cash crops, focusing on presenting solutions covering the entire scenarios of “tillage, sowing and management”. It also plans to hold special matching meetings with local distributors and agricultural cooperatives to deepen localized cooperation.
Currently, Chinese agricultural machinery enterprises are embracing dual dividends of policies and markets for overseas expansion. The newly revised Foreign Trade Law of the People’s Republic of China has included new forms of business such as cross-border e-commerce and green trade in the scope of support. At the local level, activities such as “Thousands of Groups and Ten Thousands of Enterprises Expanding Markets” continue to empower enterprises to go global, while the demand for agricultural machinery and equipment in markets such as Southeast Asia and South America is continuously releasing. Against this backdrop, our company not only focuses on product iteration, but also strives to improve the global service system. At present, two service centers have been established in core Southeast Asian markets, providing agricultural machinery operation training, spare parts supply and digital maintenance services. Meanwhile, the company has reached cooperation with financial institutions such as China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation (Sinosure) and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), and uses tools such as export credit insurance and supply chain finance to avoid overseas market risks and ensure the steady expansion of business.
The person in charge of the company stated that in the future, the company will continue to take technological innovation as the core, closely follow the global development trend of intelligence and greenization of agricultural machinery, and increase R&D investment in electrified and modular products. At the same time, relying on overseas exhibitions, cross-border e-commerce platforms and localized service networks, it will deepen the overseas expansion model of “product + service + finance”. While consolidating the advantages in Southeast Asian and African markets, the company will actively explore emerging markets such as South America and cold regions, helping domestic micro-tillers build a strong brand reputation in the global market.
